A Year of Amazing Stories & A Big Step Forward for 2024!

Wow, what a year it's been! I'm excited to share with you some of the incredible things we've witnessed and give you a sneak peek into what's coming next. It's been a year full of growth, challenges, and amazing blessings.

Life at Brookside Church:

Our church family has been buzzing with activity. We've welcomed a steady stream of visitors and within the church, we’ve seen a prayer ministry start and a food pantry launch, now helping 10-20 families every week. And let me tell you, December was absolutely amazing, with 8 people deciding to follow Jesus. Moments like these make it all worth it.

Podcast Adventures:

The "Rebuilding Life After Addiction" podcast has been a rollercoaster of inspiration. We've shared 39 episodes, reaching around 200,000 views across platforms! It's been a journey of real, raw stories that resonate with so many, especially those praying for their loved ones battling addiction.

Back at Teen Challenge:

The first week of November I stepped in to help Teen Challenge, I’ve seen God’s hand at work. Our program’s almost full, and the unity and commitment among the men are nothing short of inspiring. We’re not just running a program; we’re shaping lives through discipleship. Plus, serving up hot meals in the community and connecting the men to our church family has been a joy and a blessing.

A Bit About Our Journey:

Ashley and I have always believed in following where God leads us, stepping out in faith, and trusting Him to provide. This year, that’s meant balancing multiple ministries, lots of time spent traveling I-81, family, homeschool, and being close to finalizing our adoption of a precious girl who has changed our lives forever. It’s been a whirlwind, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Looking Ahead to 2024:

Next year is about being more present in the communities we serve. The dream? To move closer, cut down our commute, and be right where we’re needed most. We've been waiting for the housing market to soften over the past three years, but we feel now is the time to take a leap of faith. Despite the potential increase in housing costs, we trust that God will provide as we make this necessary move. It's not just about relocating; it's about reclaiming precious hours each week, hours that can be invested in lives and spreading hope. This move is a crucial step in deepening our impact and being more accessible to serve the Lord’s mission.

We Need Your Help:

As we embark on this significant move, inspired by our faith and commitment to serve better, we’re reaching out for your support. Our goal is to raise $12,000, which we anticipate will cover the increased cost in our housing expenses. This move is not just a change of location; it's a strategic step towards deepening our ministry's impact.

Reaching this goal will enable us to be more present and active in the communities we serve, turning hours spent on the road into hours spent in ministry. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to making this dream a reality.

Ways to Join In:

  • Pray: Your prayers mean the world to us.

  • Donate: Every little bit helps us get closer to our goals

Your support and involvement mean everything to us. We’re not just talking about change; we’re living it, one day at a time. Here’s to stepping into 2024 with faith, hope, and a whole lot of excitement!

Warm regards,

Justin & Ashley Franich
