Rocco's Journey: From Addiction to Freedom

A Night of Worship & Transformation

Last week, we experienced something truly powerful. The Ben Fuller concert was more than just music—it was a night where lives were changed, hope was restored, and Jesus met people right where they were.

One of the most impactful moments of the night was hearing Rocco share his story of redemption. Before we dive into his testimony, take a moment to watch this 30-second recap video from the event.

Rocco’s Story: From Darkness to Light

“My name is Rocco, and I’m 32 years old. My life is proof that Jesus can rewrite anyone’s story.

At just 15 years old, I started down a path of addiction that led me through 17 years of brokenness, jail sentences, and total hopelessness. I eventually hit rock bottom—alone, in jail, and believing I was better off dead.

But it was there, in my darkest moment, that Jesus met me. Surrounded by men in jail who were seeking God, I found hope, opened my heart to Christ, and everything changed.

Today, because of Jesus and the support of Shenandoah Valley Adult & Teen Challenge, my life has been completely restored. I’m now serving others who are walking the road I once walked, helping them discover the same hope I found.”

God is Still Changing Lives

Rocco’s story is a reminder that no one is too far gone for God’s grace. What happened at this concert wasn’t just an event—it was an encounter with the One who transforms lives.
